What the extension reads

On Google Images result pages, StockBlocker reads the current page URL and search query locally so it can add or remove stock-provider exclusions. It does not read content on other websites.

What the extension stores

The on/off state, filter profile, region, blocked domains and allowed domains are saved in browser extension storage. Your browser may synchronize these settings when browser sync is enabled.

What we never collect

StockBlocker does not send search queries, visited URLs, browsing history, account information or diagnostics to developer-controlled services. Browser-managed sync may send the settings described above to your browser provider when sync is enabled. There are no analytics, trackers, remote scripts or externally hosted code.

Permissions and control

Permissions are limited to extension storage and Google Search result pages. Settings exports and support diagnoses are created locally and only when you request them. You can reset StockBlocker settings at any time.

  1. Open the Extensions menu beside the address bar.
  2. Find StockBlocker and choose the option to keep it in the toolbar.
  3. The StockBlocker icon will remain visible in the toolbar.
