What the extension reads
On Google Search result pages, StockBlocker reads the current image search query so it can add or remove its stock-provider exclusion filters. It does not access other websites.
A focused Google Images extension
StockBlocker removes popular stock-photo providers from your Google Images searches with one simple on/off control.
Read our privacy policyFiltering happens locally in your browser.
Effective August 27, 2026
StockBlocker is deliberately small and private. It processes only the information needed to filter your current Google Images search.
On Google Search result pages, StockBlocker reads the current image search query so it can add or remove its stock-provider exclusion filters. It does not access other websites.
StockBlocker stores one preference in Chrome's local extension storage: whether filtering is on or off. This preference stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the extension.
We do not transmit, sell, share, or use browsing data for advertising. The extension contains no analytics, trackers, remote scripts, or externally hosted code.
Access is limited to Google Search result pages and Chrome's local storage. Those permissions support the filter and remember its state; they are not used for another purpose.
Need a hand?
Open a Google Images search and click the StockBlocker control in the upper-right corner. Blue means filtering is active. Click it again to restore the unfiltered query.
